Knights of Columbus
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney to bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.
We are more than 2 million members in over 16,000 councils worldwide. We come from many places, backgrounds, and stages in our lives, but we are all of one faith. We are men who lead, serve, protect and defend, whether we are giving out Coats for Kids, lending a hand in disaster relief efforts, supporting local pregnancy centers by donating ultrasound machines or providing top-quality financial products. Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community.
We help to raise funds for the parish and assist in many parish and community events. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 7:00-8:30 PM in the ABC Room. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Wheelock at 440-231-0533 or [email protected]. If you would like to join today, simply go to KofC.org/joinus and enter our council #15942 for local information.
Ministry of Praise

JUNE CALENDAR
Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body which unites laity and clergy in a community of prayer, leadership, service and pastoral planning. The Pastor consults the Pastoral Council on major pastoral concerns which affect the life and mission of the parish. Those interested in serving on Parish Council should reach out to the Pastor. Nominations of parishioners are also encouraged. Members should have the ability to study and reflect prayerfully, and to recognize and respect the viewpoints of others. Parish Council meets bi-monthly, usually on the 1st Monday of the month when possible. Contact Fr. Scott Goodfellow ([email protected]) if you are interested in joining.
Prayer Shawl/ Hat Team
Volunteers meet the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1:00-2:30 PM in the Community Room to knit and crochet prayer shawls/hats. These are prayed over and blessed by one of our clergy. Any parishioner may take a finished prayer shawl/hat from the Community Room for someone who is experiencing a particular joy or sorrow of life. This serves as a physical sign of our parish's prayers and support.
Wedding Coordinators
Specially trained parishioners meet with an engaged couple to plan their Wedding Mass/Ceremony, facilitate the rehearsal, and are also present the day of the Wedding to assist as needed.
