The fundraising campaign for the Father Daniel P. Redmond Memorial Scholarship Fund continues and your participation is prayerfully requested. We are asking that every parish household consider supporting this effort to create a lasting memorial to our late pastor, who passed away six months ago on May 9, 2021.

  As previously stated, the three primary objectives of this Fund are as follows:

1. To provide a lasting memorial for Father Redmond, who served this parish as pastor for nearly ten years.
2. To recognize the importance of Catholic education, including support at the secondary level, in the growth, development and foundational learning of our children.
3. To recognize graduates of Saint Mary School who have committed to continue their education at a Catholic high school and to assist their parents in financing this learning environment.

 Pertinent Information:

• Your contributions may be placed in the weekend collection basket, delivered to the parish office during the work week, mailed to the parish, or electronically made through the following: https://osvhub.com/ stmary/chardon/funds/fr-redmond-memorialscholarship
• All funds will be used to support students of Saint Mary School who are seeking a secondary education at a Catholic high school.
• If less than $25,000 is raised, the fund will likely not be self-sustaining. In such an event, the funds will be used for scholarships until its earnings and its principal are fully depleted.
• Donations of any amount are welcomed. Contributions will certainly be accepted to the Fund after the campaign closes. The brief history of Father Redmond’s pastorate and the two-volume collection of his writings are inducements offered to encourage giving at the premium levels.
