A Goodbye from the Sisters of Notre Dame

August 17, 2020As some of you know, we Sisters of Notre Dame will be moving out of our convent home in early September. The three of us will be relocating to our provincial center property on Auburn Road, joining the 168 Sisters who currently live there. As we move, we recall that the first four Sisters of Notre Dame moved into this convent on August 14, 1962. Since then, about 67 Sisters have called St. Mary Convent home. A total of 160 Sisters have served here both in the school and in the CCD/PSR programs.
We want to take this opportunity to thank Father Redmond, all the former pastors, and the entire parish community for always making us feel so welcome here. We thank you for the spiritual nourishment we have received, for the example of your prayerfulness and your outreach to those in need, and for the enrichment we have received through your friendship over the years. As we leave, we take with us many fond memories of our time here. We also promise to keep all of you in our special prayer and we ask for your prayers too.
